In trying to grow my newfound lifestyle. I had to connect with all those I found that matter in that area. Getting to hear that there's a browser called Brave today that amazes me. And to hear that brave is even faster than Chrome, that one shocked me.
Let me not stress my thought. Let me take a deep into the post and share the reaction that the post got. Like he said! Cloud Computing and DevOps Engineering Tutorials for Beginners
Technically, Brave is faster than Chrome and would probably be better soon. 3 days and I'm loving it.
I think Google need to embrace web3 now. I mean they should migrate their services from web2 to web3.
Web3 global adoption will take time tho because tech giants like Google will never buy the idea. How are they going to make money if they do? When they no longer have 100% access and control over users' data? Lol
A long ride really.
To anyone building whatever it may be rn, make your codes flexible, and position your platform for web3 easy migration. I'm not a prophet, but 10yrs from now, web2 will be a thing of the past.

This post irked the little nerd in my brain quite a bit. 😅
Brave browser is based on the Chromium open-source project created by Google. Same as Chrome.
Technically Brave is Chrome.
The difference is Brave comes with an ad blocker by default and runs Tor for privacy.
When loading a web page, blocking ads and tracking scripts makes the page load faster and that’s where the speed gain against Chrome come from.
This is not in all cases though, depending on the website architecture, Chrome can still have an edge.
To earn the BAT tokens you have to allow Brave to serve you ads which sort of defeats the whole purpose of default ads blocking lol.
In 2020, Brave was redirecting traffic to Binance to their referral page lol.
They’re humans too you see and run a very centralized network. Browsers by design can’t really be decentralized. Even open-source Chromium isn’t decentralized.
Web3 is just a paradigm for decentralized data, instead of the corporation-controlled (centralized) data of web2.0.
In essence, browsers can’t be “moved to web3”, as web3 is not a browser engine nor kernel.
You can use any browser to access a web3 website.
As of today, Chrome is still the best browser out there, I am rooting for Brave and use it myself but they’re really not in the same league as Chrome, Firefox and Safari in terms of features, convenience and overall experience and polish. —Deon
Deon Browser moved to web3? Nope, I never said so. I said "their services" not chrome in particular. The comment is informative.💯 —Richard Chibo
Deon, your position on the issue is great. it reminds me of why Jack Dorsey is pushing for Web 5.0 which is a combination of Web 2.0 + Web 3.0 basically due to limitations that are associated with the web3 innovation. —Victor Essenetuk
Victor Essenetuk Jack is not serious about web5, he can't deliver what he promised and started. —Richard Chibo
Richard Chibo there might not be any mandatory policy on Web 5.0 adoption. As long as your avatar surfs the web while in the Metaverse you are already complying with Web 5. —Victor Essenetuk
Victor Essenetuk I believe Jack was joking with that tweet because web3 is pretty much a buzzword at this point. —Deon
Kiwi is the best App!! —Jemilu
Far far. Firefox is also faster as well. I have 7 web browsers on my laptop. —Kelechi Ogbonna
Downloading Brave immediately. —Lemmy Zacheaus
Boss try the Kiwi browser, that browser is like software, you easily use chrome extensions on Kiwi. —Achile O. Victor
There's a reason for that
1. Brave doesn't have the adoption and usage chrome has
2. Doesn't even have up to ⅛ of the traffic generated on chrome daily
Chrome even as an in-built app for most or all Android phones has a download of 10B+ while brave is just at 100M+, which is 100× lesser than chrome downloads excluding those that come as in-built. So the speed of Brave is expected. —Prince Daniel
